Amanda experienced a love of photography at a very early age. When she was eight her grandmother took her to North Park mall in Dallas, Texas at Christmas and allowed her to take an entire roll of film of anything she wanted to photograph. She remembers the excitement of having those shots developed and that same exhilaration exists today!
She served four years in the United States Navy and was stationed in Italy for two of those years. Upon completing her tour of duty she began working in the field of Information Technology. Throughout her military and civilian careers she has enjoyed capturing every moment through the lens of her camera. Amanda has been blessed with opportunities to travel the world and experience a multitude of countries including China, Singapore, Thailand, Peru, Argentina, Angola, Turkey, Israel, Greece, Germany, Norway and Ireland. These assignments have enhanced her experience and ability to relate to various cultures and customs.
Photography has been an integral part of her life and she desires to share this with others. Whether shooting a portrait or wedding, Amanda has a gift for helping people relax and enjoy themselves, all the while realizing that in a split second a special moment is created and it is to be captured for a lifetime through photographs.
